My name is Janine Faye - the founder of resonate. Healthcare, a resource where I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion in Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga, Breath work and Meditation to optimise your health and wellbeing.
I was born from a long line of healers and healthcare professionals and have always had a deep rooted passion for helping others achieve a deep sense of wellness, balance and peace in their lives.
I love the natural world and all that it has to offer and I am happiest when immersed in nature with a particular love of the ocean.
I have worked in the NHS in the UK for many years as a Diagnostic Radiographer. During my career I have led services and specialised in a wide range of bodily systems including, Trauma, Cardiac, Neurological, Respiratory,Oncology, Gastrointestinal, Gynaecological , Vascular and Musculoskeletal disorders.
I love to travel and explore the wisdom and traditions of ancient cultures. I consider myself a lifelong student striving to learn more about the medicinal benefits that the natural world has to offer.
The more I learn the more I am fascinated at how detailed, precise and effective these ancient practices were in understanding the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing needs of us as individuals.
Our ancestors knowledge of how to treat complex health issues naturally is astounding and comprehensive in its approach. Modern medicinal interventions are often rooted from the foundations of these practices.
I believe that by integrating the knowledge and wisdom passed down by our ancestors coupled with the advancements in modern medicine we can discover the future of ancient medicine.
I have practised Yoga and meditation for over 30 years and gained my qualification as a Yoga Teacher in Rishikesh, India. The beautiful homeland of Yoga.
I also studied the sciences of Pranayama (Breath work) and Meditation. My styles of Yoga include Restorative, Yin, Ashtanga and Yoga Nidra. I specialise in tailoring yoga plans to suit all ages and abilities but have a passion in adapting yoga to address specific health concerns and enjoy working with the subtle bodies.
My passion for healthcare and Yoga combined, naturally led me into discovering the sister science of Yoga, Ayurveda in which I am a qualified Ayurvedic Health Consultant.
As a holistic practitioner with a deep awareness of how energy and frequencies such as sound and breath affects the state of the physical and emotional body, my career as a Diagnostic Radiographer allowed me to observe these energies from an alternative perspective. The manipulation and adaption of frequencies in magnetic fields and Computed Tomography enabled diagnostic images to be acquired.
